Server Management
Keeping the AureusMC Cobblemon network running, including its website and wiki and the client modpack.

Overview
I look after the public side of the AureusMC Cobblemon network: the website with its news and wiki, and the Technic client modpack players install to join Cobblemon Lotus.
The problem
The modpack exists so players can install the right mods, configs and menu in one go. I lead the technical side and the events on the server. The datapack, resource pack and event director work are all sub-roles of that.
What I did
- Built and maintained aureus-site, a Nuxt 4 website with a news blog of 24 posts, from the 2025 development update through the Autumn and Spooky Season posts in November 2026.
- Wrote and maintained the wiki's 57 pages, covering getting started, rules and server features such as crates, pokepacks, fishing, gyms and catch combos.
- Published seasonal store and event posts for the Autumn and Spooky Season updates.
- Maintained the Technic client modpack: about a hundred Fabric 1.21.1 client mods, a pinned server list, and a pre-configured FancyMenu main menu.
- Moved Cobblemon in the pack from 1.8.0 to 1.8.4 across September to November 2026, with a Technic packaging checklist kept in the repo.
- Kept the modpack repo private, because the bundled third-party mods cannot be redistributed.
Stack
- Nuxt 4, Nuxt UI 4 (Tailwind CSS 4) and Nuxt Content 3, with custom callouts, steppers and chips in Markdown
- Fabric Loader 0.19.5 on Minecraft 1.21.1, with Cobblemon and the Technic Platform for distribution
- Git and GitHub
Outcome / impact
- Cobblemon Lotus was announced on the news blog. The website, wiki and modpack are all still being updated, with the latest commits on 2 Nov 2026.
- The website repo has 71 commits since September 2024, and the modpack repo has 11.
- We see regular events with 30+ players.
